Terms of use

Last updated · May 2, 2026

By creating a WorkTable account or using the service, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain in plain English.

1. The service

WorkTable provides hosted tables, automations, and AI features (the “Service”). We may add, change, or remove features over time. Material changes that affect how you work will be communicated by email.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least sixteen years old to create an account. One human per account — share a workspace, not a login.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WorkTable to:

  • Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Store or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it at scale, or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
  • Resell the Service or expose it as a backend to third parties without a written agreement.

4. Your content

You own the data you put into your workspace. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models or sell it to anyone.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time from settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we don't prorate partial months. Annual plans are refundable within fourteen days if you haven't actively used the service.

6. Usage limits

Each plan includes storage, automation runs, and AI fills as documented on the pricing page. We'll email you when you cross 80% of any limit. We will never silently bill you above your plan; if you go over, automations queue or pause until you top up or upgrade.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is.” Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by sub-processors, network outages, or events outside our control.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the AI or automation features, or fail to pay. On termination we will give you thirty days to export your data before permanent deletion.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data beyond what is recoverable from backups.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WorkTable's operating entity is incorporated. Disputes are resolved by the courts in that jurisdiction unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll email account owners at least thirty days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
